Laserzielgerät Serie 1055 (Laser Targeting Device Series 1055)
Laser targeting device LAD 1055, test barrels, projectile angle-of-attack module AOA 1529 and Retarder 171 — the accessory program for the Series 1055 ammunition test devices and Series 1060 shooting tables.
Description
The Laser Targeting Device LAD 1055 is designed for use with the Series 1060 shooting tables and the Series 1055 ammunition test devices. A highly visible 650 nm laser beam projects the line of sight up to a distance of about 150 m and eliminates the otherwise time-consuming mechanical setup of the weapon — an advantage that is particularly noticeable at long measurement distances.

All variants operate at 5 V supply voltage with about 32 mA current consumption and are designed for operating temperatures of −10 to +50 °C. The laser unit complies with class 2; other classes, ranges and beam colors are available on request.
Model variants

Four variants cover the entire ATD range as well as standalone use:
- LAD 1055-0 — Standalone variant (100 × 150 × 50 mm, ca. 4 kg) for free alignment tasks, e.g. in combination with FR 1060 shooting tables.
- LAD 1055-1 — for ATD 1055-0 and ATD 1055-1 ammunition test devices (100 × 150 × 50 mm, ca. 4 kg).
- LAD 1055-2 — for ATD 1055-2; same power supply and laser module specification as LAD 1055-1/-3.
- LAD 1055-3 — for ATD 1055-3 (180 × 180 × 67 mm, ca. 15 kg), designed for heavy large-caliber test stands.
The -1, -2 and -3 models can be adapted directly to the respective ammunition test device, enabling fast, repeatable targeting alignment without any conversion of the weapon.
Test barrels

For all ammunition test devices, DRELLO supplies corresponding test barrels for handgun, long-arm and shot calibers. All barrels are available as velocity measurement barrels, gas pressure measurement barrels or precision measurement barrels and are manufactured to NATO (EPVAT), CIP, SAAMI and additional standards.
AOA 1529 — Projectile angle of attack

To test the projectile angle of attack, the AOA 1529 is used in combination with a short-duration flash unit and an electronic camera. This makes it possible to photographically capture the position of the projectile within the test arrangement.
Retarder 171
The Retarder 171 triggers flash unit and camera exactly at the moment the projectile is within the test arrangement.
