Weight 18 kg / 23 kg
Mains voltage 230 V / 110 V

Description

The Noack VP250 determines the evaporation loss of lubricating oils at elevated temperatures using the Noack method. The oil sample is heated in the evaporation crucible and held at the test temperature for 60 minutes. A constant air flow extracts the resulting oil vapors. The air flow is precisely controlled by the integrated digital pressure regulator.

Temperature control is provided by a PID microprocessor controller, which results in a high degree of reproducibility and repeatability of the test results.

Applications

  • Evaporation loss testing of engine oils and lubricants
  • Quality control and operational safety
  • Vacuum pump with oil filter
  • Microprocessor-controlled temperature unit with high control accuracy
  • Automatic adjustment of control parameters
  • PT100 probe calibrated against mercury thermometer (0.1 °C scale)
  • Over-temperature protection
  • LCD display for actual temperature / pressure and test time
  • Timer with acoustic signal
  • Automatic sensor calibration — no long-term drift
  • Output for documentation of the temperature and pressure curve
