The history of R + P MESPRO
1987 Julius Peters KG Berlin
Julius Peters KG Berlin was acquired by Gebr. Haake GmbH. Under the leadership of Edwin Reichel, Julius Peters renewed and developed many products.
1994 Reichel & Partner GmbH
Edwin Reichel founded his own company, Reichel & Partner GmbH, and purchased the Julius Peters product range. The product line includes equipment for safety testing (in the transport of dangerous goods), laboratory instruments, heating blocks for thermal sensitivity tests and explosives test equipment.
2020 R + P MESPRO
R&P Reichel und Partner GmbH was acquired by Ralf Pfatteicher and has since operated under the name R + P MESPRO, headquartered in Weingarten/Baden, Germany.
2024 PECNOLET GmbH
R + P MESPRO was acquired by PECNOLET GmbH, headquartered in Wiesloch, Germany.
2025 Expansion
Since the acquisition of R + P MESPRO the business areas have been continuously expanded; the portfolio ranges from material and safety test equipment for dangerous goods through ballistic high-pressure measurement and real-time analysis of weapons and ammunition all the way to chemical agents and energetic materials.
